MAKES 5 POTS
- 1 CUP SAGO
- 1 LITRE COCONUT MILK (WE USE COCOQUENCH)
- 3/4 CUP PURE MAPLE SYRUP
- 1 CUP CACAO POWDER
- 1 TSP PINK SALT
- 1/2 TBSP CORN FLOUR
METHOD:
- COOK SAGO IN BOILING WATER FOR 30 MINS OR UNTIL SOFT.
- MIX ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS TOGETHER (EXCEPT THE CORN FLOUR) IN A POT AND SIMMER FOR 5 MINS.
- STRAIN SAGO AND COMBINE WITH OTHER INGREDIENTS.
- WHISK IN CORN FLOUR SLOWLY TO MIXTURE FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 MINUTES UNTIL IT STARTS TO THICKEN (KEEPING IN MIND IT WILL THICKEN MORE ONCE IT SETS IN FRIDGE).
- ALLOW MIXTURE TO COOL IN FRIDGE.
