Q: SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA
A: Our dispatch is based in Brisbane, Australia. We deliver anywhere within Australia on items from our retail SHOP only. Your tracking number will be sent to you via email after your order has been booked for dispatch so you can track your orders.
Please note: We unfortunately do not deliver any items from our baked or catering sections, which includes all freshly baked bakery items and menu products. We do partner with Deliveroo for local delivery throughout Brisbane & OrderIn for corporate catering, or you can order for pickup at any of our four locations across Brisbane. You can also download our app for faster pickup service on either the Apple store or the Google store.
Q: DELIVERY TIMES
A: We use Australia Post delivery service and ship products twice weekly. You should allow 5 days for delivery depending on your capital city or location. If the delivery is urgent we can offer express post shipping however this will incur additional charges. Please contact us directly at email@example.com so we can arrange express postage for you.
Q: SO, WHAT MAKES YOU THE WORLDS FRIENDLIEST DONUT?
- Our donuts are very friendly to people with various dietary requirements & restrictions. We cater for coeliacs, dairy intolerances, low sugar based diets & have rotating vegan options monthly.
- Our donuts are baked fresh everyday from scratch and are never ever fried.
- Our donuts are baked with naturally gluten free ingredients, including our very own signature gluten free flour blend that is non GMO.
- We take great care in selecting each and every ingredient that goes into our donuts, including finding their source and origin, to make sure that each donut has ingredients that were meant to be together.
- We are so passionate about what we do that a lot of love goes into making each and every batch. From the early hours every morning our bake team is hand making & decorating each and every single donut that ends up in our beautiful customers hands.
Q: IS EVERYTHING GLUTEN FREE?
A: Yes, everything we make in our kitchen is made with 100% gluten free ingredients. We take a lot of care when selecting products to use in our production kitchen to ensure that everything is gluten free and that there is no chance of cross contamination.
Q: ARE YOUR PRODUCTS EGG FREE?
A: No. A vast majority of the baked goods we produce do contain eggs, however we do have egg free options available. Please note that due to the presence of eggs in our kitchen, traces of egg may still occur despite our best efforts to minimise cross contamination. If you do have serious allergies, please speak to one of our friendly members of staff in store to find out the best option for you. For egg free options, please double check that it is labelled VG (vegan).
Q: ARE YOUR PRODUCTS DAIRY FREE?
A: Not all of them. We do have plenty of dairy free treats available, but please be mindful that dairy based ingredients are used in the kitchen and while we are very mindful to ensure there is no cross contamination, there is a chance some products could have traces of dairy. If you do have serious allergies, please speak to one of our friendly members of staff in store to find out the best option for you. For dairy free options, please double check that it is labelled DF (dairy free) or VG (vegan).
Q: ARE YOUR PRODUCTS NUT FREE?
A: No. We use nuts in a majority of our products at Nodo. Therefore even those products that don’t contain nuts still have a very high risk of cross contamination with tree nuts due to the large volume of nut products in our kitchens, so these allergens do occur. If you do have serious allergies, please speak to one of our friendly members of staff in store to find out the best option for you.
Q: WHAT SWEETENERS DO YOU USE?
A: We use all kinds of sugars & sweeteners in our kitchen. These include both refined and unrefined sugars (Australian raw sugar, cane sugar, organic rapadura sugar, fruit purees, dried fruit & pure maple syrup).
We do offer a range of healthier refined sugar free items which you will find labelled in store as RSF. These options include our breakfast donut, our beetroot blackout donut, our pumpkin maple donut, our banana bread & our limited edition easter hot cross buns. If you are conscious about your sugar intake then please ask our friendly staff in store for your best option.
Q: HOW MANY CALORIES ARE IN YOUR BAKED DONUTS?
A: At Nodo, we don’t believe in calorie counting. We believe in eating a balanced diet with lots of variety, colour & flavour We also believe that you should allow yourself the occasional treat, and we're proud to say that ours can be enjoyed without guilt!
In an effort to remain transparent to those customers seeking exact numbers, our donuts have approximately 275 calories per serving on average, but will vary slightly based on the individual donut. They contain lots of healthy fats from almond meal, complex carbohydrates from our signature flour blend, and real fruits and vegetables.
NODO GLUTEN FREE FLOUR BLENDS
Q: WHAT FLOURS DO YOU USE?
A: We use our very own gluten free flour blend that is blended in house using a combination of ethically sourced brown rice flour, white rice flour and potato starch. Our gluten free flour is certified & lab tested gluten, dairy, egg, and soy free.
We also use natural pure Australian almond meal in all of our donuts, as well as a variety of other flours in our bakery including Sorghum, Quinoa & Tapioca.
