Baked, Not Fried Donuts (GF)

The world's friendliest and yummiest donut is here. After lauching nodo donuts at the markets 8 years ago we have been refining our recipe and so excited to bring our donut mix to market. Now people all over Australia and the world can make our baked not fried, gluten free donuts at home. Best eaten straight out of the oven.

 

Makes 12 large donuts

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g Nodo Baked, Not Fried Donut Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (or oil of choice)
  • 1 cup thick greek yoghurt

     

    METHOD

    1. Pre heat oven to 180ºC fan forced.
    2. Whisk together the wet ingredients (eggs, oil & yoghurt).
    3. Add in the donut mix to wet mixture.
    4. Using a spatula, stir the mixture until combined.
    5. Pour mixture into a greased donut mould (or muffin tin if you don't have donut mould). We recommend using a nodo donuts silicon baking mould.
    6. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the donuts feel lightly springy and just done. 
    7. Let cool slightly before popping carefully out of donut mould.
    8. Melt 100g butter (or dairy free alternative) and brush donuts with butter before sprinkling with cinnamon sugar mix
