We’ve partnered up with our friends at Pepe Saya to bring you the ultimate creamy Buttermilk Pancakes recipe.

It’s no shock that pancakes have always been one of our favourites foods. There’s something special about a fluffy stack of pancakes covered in creamy butter mixed with sweet syrup that makes getting out of bed a breeze.

These pancakes are extra dreamy! The batter is thick, yet light and they cook up all soft, fluffy, and golden brown. Taste wise - they are bursting in delicious flavour. Super fluffy, hearty, not too sweet and perfect under a dollop of Pepe Says butter.

INGREDIENTS

• 170g Nodo Better Batter
• 1 large free range egg
• 2 tbsp melted and cooled Pepe Saya Butter
• 1/2 cup Pepe Saya Buttermilk 

METHOD

1. In a mixing bowl, add eggs, buttermilk & butter — whisk to combine.
2. Add the better batter pancake mix to the wet mixture — whisk to combine.
3. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat, then grease with butter.
4. Use a 1/4 cup of batter per pancake, cook the pancake until it starts to bubble, and then carefully flip.
5. Transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining mixture, making sure you grease between each pancake.
6. Serve with Pepe Saya Maple Butter
