Life-Changing Choc Chip Mug Cake (GF)

Cook time: 1 minute

This single-serve sweet treat stars our Life-Changing Self-Raising Flour to make a fluffy choc chip cake in a mug! Melt and mix in under 5 minutes and you’ve got a winter-warming cup of gluten-free goodness.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 60g butter
  • 30g honey
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon of Nodo Life-Changing Self-Raising Flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

 

METHOD

  1. Add the butter and honey to a tall mug. Microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring in between, until the butter is melted.

  2. Add the egg and vanilla, using a fork to whisk until combined with the butter honey mixture.

  3. Add the flour and whisk again to combine.

  4. Sprinkle the choc chips on top. 

  5. Cook in the microwave for 60-90 seconds. The cake is done when it pulls away from the sides of the mug.

  6. Top with anything you desire. We love adding some Vanilla Coyo and extra choc chips (because you can never have too much chocolate).
